A Collect for Healing
'Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. ... But a Samaritan ... went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.' - Luke 10:30-34 (ESV)
Blessed Savior, who has seen our half dead state and has taken compassion on us, bind up our wounds and bring us to where we may find rest and healing among those who will take care of us, that we might be made whole in you and rise to turn and have compassion in turn on others, who lives with the Father and Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
