A Collect for Compassion

Lord Jesus, who took on the nature of a servant for our sake, give us compassion like you have, that we would see those around us in need and be moved to act, as you did and continue to do and so become children of our Father in heaven, through you who lives with the Father and Holy Spirit in perfect love. Amen.
