A Collect of Thanks to God

Shepherd of souls, to whom we belong as your sheep, we thank you for entrusting us to your dear Son, and for making yourself known through your Anointed One. Help us to keep your word and remain with you so that what you have sent would not return to you empty, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
