A Collect to Cease Saving Ourselves

Exalted Lord, who humbled himself even to death for our sake, reveal to us those places where we wrongly feel that we must protect ourselves and thereby save our own lives, that we would not resist the change and growth you desire for us, but would experience resurrection and real life as you have shown us to be possible, through you who was exalted to sit beside the Father and Holy Spirit in glory. Amen.
