Almighty God, who sets the world on its ear and defies the wisdom of this age, teach us your ways and your values, that we would not be swayed by the lies of power and safety and comfort that this world tells us, but would find ourselves secure in you, loved and made well by your provision and care, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives with you and the Holy Spirit in perfect unity and love, world without end.
