A Collect to Resist Temptation

God of compassion, who was tempted as we are tempted, there is something that each of us desires that pulls us away from your love. Reveal to us how you stand ready to fulfill that desire already, if only we would hold fast to you, who with the Father and Holy Spirit live in glory forever. Amen.
