A Collect to Set Aside Our Expectations

Ineffable Divinity, who is entirely beyond our understanding, forgive us for demanding that you fit our expectations and desires, and give us the ability to look to you with wonder and awe, delighting in the unexpected and marveling in your endless creativity and wisdom, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit reigns in impenetrable light.
